Being a good steward of God’s gifts and loving your family means that we all “Put our houses in order.” The phrase, “Put your house in order” originates from a Bible verse where a prophet tells a sick king to “set his house in order” before death. Young or old, there are certain basic things we all should have taken care of as a blessing to our families. We’ll cover most of these things and give your some practical steps and helps to start this process!
Session #1 (April 27) Sunday’s presentation (April 27) will be about how to plan for the inevitable to ensure your family is protected, taxes are minimized and that your estate is handled how you want it. We will also discuss how to ensure that your family has the tools in place to help you once you are unable to make decisions for yourself.

Session #3 May 11th, Mark Johnson with Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue will present information about a few county services available to assist families with in- home care and access to various medical needs. The emphasis will be with two services – fire department CARES unit and services with the Kitsap County Division of Aging and Long-term Care.
