Women’s Winter Retreat 2025 - Silverdale Lutheran Church

Sacred music hits most of us in our souls’ most tender places. Maybe hearing our grandmother’s favorite hymn or a contemporary Christian song’s lyrics that speak directly into our own profound longing moves us to tears. Maybe a hymn’s lyrics make a connection with scripture that brings us a deeper understanding and love of God’s Word. Maybe an ancient chant helps us feel connected with the Church through the ages. Maybe just the act of lifting our worshiping voices in unison with other Christians in our congregation strengthens our faith.

Join us February 14-16 for our annual Women’s Retreat at St. Andrew’s House on the spectacular Hood Canal. We will talk about the role of music in the Church and will bring our favorite hymns and contemporary Christian songs with us to the weekend, learning the stories behind the music and sharing how our favorites, old and new, touch our souls and help build our faith.

The Cost of the retreat at St Andrews House is $ 270 per person and covers lodging and food. The Cancellation policy from St Andrews House is listed below. If you cannot attend and cancel under 90 days you may not receive a full refund. The discounted Day rate of $100 is also non refundable.

Cancellation Policy: Deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 90 days before retreat are responsible for
50% of minimum amount. Cancellations made less than 30 days before retreat are responsible for 75% of minimum.
