SLC ACOLYTES
Acolytes have a front row seat to Worship! This ministry is reserved for 5th-8th grade. We encourage our Middle School aged families to actively participate in one of our Worship services by assisting our liturgists and pastors with various tasks. This is a prerequisite for Confirmation helping our youth form a deeper understanding of our traditions and sacraments.

Don’t forget, parents and siblings can be a part of the action by serving as readers, greeters, ushers, communion assistants and liturgists! This is a great way to set an example and foster your faith connection at home. Visit Worship Participation and Support for additional information.
Before you sign up, Please take a moment as a family to talk about this commitment and decide how it fits into your schedule. We recommend serving monthly to prepare our youth for their next stepping stone in 9th grade, Confirmation. Claim your dates and mark your calendars!
