Justin’s performance history is as vast as his musical interests. He has shared stages, including the scenic Gorge Amphitheater, with prominent popular music performers, including Brandi Carlile. He has performed and studied alongside Gospel legends like Dr. Ysaye Barnwell and Dr. Stephen Newby at the Paramount Theatre. He has performed with local jazz greats Thomas Marriott and Jay Thomas. He served as harpsichord soloist for a Brandenburg Concerto with the SPU symphony. All glories aside, you can find him busking the streets at Christmastime with his accordion.

Jessica Voigt

Director of Children & Youth Ministry

Jessica has an abundance of energy to share with Silverdale Lutheran Church! As a military spouse of 10 years (and counting!!!), she has had the pleasure to serve many congregations in the ELCA. From Florida to here at Silverdale Lutheran Church to San Diego, and back, her experiences were completely unique in each place. One thing remains the same: she loves working with the children and families everywhere.

Kim Holmes Grasmick

Pastoral Care Assistant
Diaconal Intern

My other stats include a certificate in Lutheran Studies from North American Lutheran Seminary and I am currently in Luther Seminary's Master's program, majoring in systematic theology because I've discovered I am a geek for the Bible and theology.  I am married to Scott and we have a teenaged daughter, an elderly corgi-huahua and 2 naughty cats.  Let's meet for coffee - I'd love to hear about your own call, your dreams for the future, and your ideas for Loving Kitsap!

Dennis Enebo

PRESIDENT

I have been blessed to be baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Church. I grew up in rural Montana and studied engineering at Montana State University. That led me to a career with Puget Sound Navy Shipyard. Not long after moving to Bremerton, I started attending Silverdale Lutheran Church, where I was welcomed and nurtured by many pastors and parishioners over the years. I was encouraged to join in various ministries supporting Sunday school, youth programs, church council, and various others.

Scott Slocum

VICE PRESIDENT/HEAD OF PERSONNEL

I was born into a Navy family, with a brother and two sisters. The four of us were all baptized at the same time in a Methodist Church in the early 1950s. One month before graduating from Ohio State University and being commissioned as a line officer in the U.S. Navy, my father retired from the Navy with 27 years. I spent the next 21 years in the submarine force, starting in diesel submarines and retiring here in Silverdale in 1990. Until 1987, I had never lived in the same place for much longer than 2 years. Now we really feel at home and connected to this community.

Jane Rasely

SECRETARY

My journey at Silverdale Lutheran began when my husband, Jeff, and I moved our family to Kitsap in 1995. We love life in Kitsap and knew we had arrived at our new church home the minute we stepped in the doors of SLC! There is such a vibrant social life with so many opportunities for fun, education, and support here. When my four children were toddlers, Mothers’ Circle kept me sane, and some of the ladies I met there are still my closest friends today.

Kathleen Johnson

FINANCIAL SECRETARY

I have been blessed with the opportunity to work for SLC since 2017.  I started as the Ministry Program assistant, then took on duties as the communication coordinator and in 2024 became the Business Manager.  In 2025 I decide to volunteer as the Financial Secretary out...  mostly because it was another way to support the many volunteers that help our church run efficiently.

Cheryl

Cheryl Miller

TREASURER

My husband Craig and I were first introduced to Silverdale Lutheran Church when we attended a Christmas Eve service when visiting family.  A warm and welcoming congregation made us feel very much at home. So with our move to Kitsap, our journey with Silverdale Lutheran began in February 2016.

WORSHIP & MUSIC

As a Navy Family, my husband Brian and I joined 6 different ELCA churches in 6 different states with 6 different worship styles. By the time we first attended SLC in 2000, I had learned to jump in and join choir even before becoming a formal member of the church. Singing in choir not only brings me joy, it gives me the opportunity to make new friends and gain a sense of belonging while contributing to worship. I am excited to deepen my service to the congregation by representing Worship and Music on our council.

EDUCATION

Hello! My family and I first walked through the doors of Silverdale Lutheran Church in 1998, drawn in by the vibrant Youth and Education ministries. From Sunday School and Vacation Bible School to Confirmation and Council service, SLC has been a spiritual home where we've grown together in faith. Our children were confirmed here, I’ve been active in teaching and curriculum planning, and my husband Kevin served faithfully as Council Treasurer.
