Sunday, March 1st, we start a new series on Martin Luther’s seminal writing, “The Bondage of the Will” as last year was the 500th anniversary of its 1525 composition. Why this writing? Luther lists this book as one of three works of his that was worthy of preserving. In fact, Luther would say that the issue of whether one’s human will is bound or free gets to the core theological issue of the Reformation.
