DESCRIPTION:A ministry started in 1969\, Silverdale Lutheran Church Quilters gather every Monday morning in the Fellowship Hall to create quilts to share with those in need of warmth. Each year the quilters will sew hundreds of quilts that are shipped to Lutheran World Relief for distribution across the world and additional quilts that are shared within our community. All are welcome to join in this creative work. Silverdale Lutheran Church supports this ministry with monetary and in-kind donations\, along with the helping hands of many volunteers.

DESCRIPTION:PB’s Thursday Bible StudyThe Gospel of John\n\n\nThis year PB’s Thursday Bible Study will walk through the Gospel of John.  This Gospel is often said to be a more “theological” Gospel than the synoptic Gospels (Matthew\, Mark\, and Luke).  One way to look at it is this: The Gospel of John is written in such a way that we will now not miss what many did.  It is a well known fact that the Gospel according to John was Luther’s most loved Gospel.  Come and take a deep dive into this amazing Gospel that truly does deliver God’s mercy and grace in Christ Jesus.  We hope to cover about a ½ chapter in each session and finish by the end of next summer! \nThis class meets in Fellowship Hall Thursday mornings.  You can also join in via ZOOM

DESCRIPTION:Song of the Church \n\n\nThis group is a bit like “Choir-lite.” We meet weekly Thursdays at noon and do vocal exercises. Then we study and rehearse the upcoming Sunday’s hymns and songs. Song of the Church is a good opportunity to exercise the voice and to dive deeper into the rich musical tradition of the church.
