Where is God leading you?

We believe that we are all Grace-filled…and …Spirit-led.

What does this mean to you?  And how does this work?

Start with the assumption [and know that it is TRUE!] that God is at work in your life.  Below are some images that might fit where you are.  Once you imagine yourself in a particular image, ask where the Spirit may be leading you.  Below are some possibilities.

CALM WATERS:  God has led me to SLC.  I enjoy the worship and music and preaching, but I can’t always make it every Sunday. Or maybe I really believe
church is important for my kids, so I tend to drop them off at Sunday School and go and get some coffee before taking them home.  I might follow the blog or think about getting more involved, but I just can’t seem to find the time.  I also don’t know very many people at SLC.

Where might your next step be?

MISTY WATERFALL:  I really try to be in worship every Sunday. I even try to go to Sunday School or Adult class when I can.  If I remember the check book, I contribute to the offering plate.  I have a few good friends at the church, but I’m not that involved outside of worship.

FLOWING RIVERS:  I consider myself an active member of SLC.  I am in worship most Sundays, I contribute regularly with my time and my finances, and I am a part of one of SLC’s ministries.  I  don’t however, feel like I have a strong support network of   friends at the church.  My kids are also involved, though disconnected.  I would consider my inward faith journey good, though it can always improve, but my outward journey needs some work.

DEEP, BLUE OCEAN:  I cannot imagine my life without the church.  I am deeply committed to the life and ministry of SLC and I have many rich and nurturing friendships here.  I give regularly of my time and talents.
